He would do anything for me.
I would just let him.
And I took him for granted.
I didn't understand why me.

I was what he wanted.
It just takes some people longer.
He waited for me to catch up.
Fall in love.
Until I too gave back unconditional love.
It must be contagious.
And returned properly.
